These two sisters came our way in 2013.

Tragically in 2012, their father was killed in a road traffic accident. He had been a teacher himself. He was a good father and provider and had been in the process of building them a new home.

Their mother, who is uneducated, was left to fendĀ for her children and was unable to pay school fees.

The school director saw the children in the daytime outside their mud hut as he passed one day and asked why they were not at school. They had not been since their father died.

On hearing their story he approached Change a Chapter for help. In September 2013 an English lawyer heard their story and is now supporting the education costs for both sisters.

They are so appreciative someone has chosen to help change a chapter for them to make theirs a happier story.
