Sara is 9 years old.
Her social situation is such that she has had to be removed from her parents so that she is not ‘married’ as her older sister was at the age of thirteen years. She is staying in a house near the school under the care of one of the school teachers. She is shy with strangers and not as sociable as the other children.
She is very keen to not be sent home from school and wants to progress her studies.
