All our teaching has to be in English as that is what the government wants. This is hard because at home we speak Swahili. With my grandmother I have to speak Giriama as that is our tribal language. (In Kenya there are a total of 42 tribal languages). So already even though I am only 9 years old I can speak a little of three different languages.
