John and Jack’s mum works hard breaking stones in the high Kenyan heat to try and get just a small amount of money to provide the boys and their sister with some basic food.

The mud hut they live in is very small and the boys sleep directly on the mud floor.

Both their education has been sponsored by the same Englishman and as every yearly chapter passes the two brothers seem to become happier.

They are doing so well at school.

Jack is top in his class and John has nearly completed his lower primary education.
